Lester Keith Piggott (1935-) was an English jockey, considered to be the best of his generation.
Piggott won his first race in 1948. During the course of his career, he won nine Derbies. After he retired from riding horses, he became a racehorse trainer. In 1987 he was jailed for tax irregularities, but resumed his career as a trainer following his release from jail. He retired in 1995.
