Leominster

Leominster (pronounced ) is a market town in Herefordshire, England. It has a population of approximately 11,000 and is on the River Lugg.

In 1052 the town was the site of the Battle of Llanllieni, the first battle between Normans and Welsh.

From 1974 to 1996 Leominster served as the administrative centre for the local government district of Leominster.

The town shares a friendly rivalry with Hereford. In recent years, Leominster's multitude of antique shops have brought many visitors into the town.

Euphoria, nick named by many locals as "the hole" is a place where you can have a few drinks with your mates and also mingle with the locals. There are also many friendly pubs situated in the town centre such as Connellys and the Duckingstool.
