Le Van Vien (aka Bai Vien) was born in Vietnam.

Biography

He was such an effective leader of the Hoa Hao sect fighting the Viet Minh, Emperor Bao Dai awarded him the rank of general, whereupon he returned to his family name of Le Van Vien and from that day was never known to commit an illegal act.
