La Reina (Spanish "The Queen") is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile, located on the eastern side of the province of Santiago, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. The area is mainly residential and inhabited by mid and upper-mid income families. A small airport — Aerodrómo Eulogio Sánchez Errázuriz (best known as Tobalaba) — is located on the eastern side. The municipality has an area of 23 km², a population of 96,762 (2002 census) and an average household income of $66,162 in PPP US dollars (2000). The current mayor — elected in 2004 — is Luis Montt Dubournais.
