Kasuga Shrine

The Kasuga Shrine (春日大社, Kasuga Taisha) is a Shinto shrine in the city of Nara, in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Established in 768 A.D., it is the shrine of the Fujiwara family.

The architectural style Taisha-zukuri takes its name from the Kasuga Shrine.

The Kasuga Shrine is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nara.
