K-2L is a fictional space colony that was destroyed by the Space pirates. The most famous and only survivor from the now lost colony was Samus Aran she was rescued by a bird-like race known as the Chozo. The curent location of the colony is unknown it was mentioned in the Metroid manga comic book.
