Josie D'Arby (born 1978 Newport, Wales) is a British actress and television presenter, who once attended RADA. In the early 1990's she presented on CBBC and then on Sm-Art . She then presented on the Bigger Breakfast (a spinoff from the Big Breakfast) and Top of the Pops. After this, she played the role of PC Jodie Finn, in the BBC drama, Merseybeat from 2002-2003.
In 2003, she was a contestant in the first series of the Channel 4 reality TV show, The Games, where she came third and received a bronze medal. As a result of appearing on this, she then went on to appear on Back To Reality, where she came in fifth. She then went back and helped the finalists from series 1 of The Games, win The Games Champion of Champions.
Recently she has been a presenter on the daytime TV show, Loose Women and has made guest appearances in dramas, such as Casualty.
From February 2005, D'Arby also starred as Pealy Maghti, one of the presenters of the BBC's early 1980s spoof science programme, Look Around You.
Josie is also a celebrity ambassador, for the British Red Cross.
