Jo Frost is an English nanny and the central figure of the reality television programme Supernanny, of which there is both a British and an American version.
Frost has been a professional nanny since attending university. She began her television career with the premiere (to high ratings) of the British version of Supernanny on Channel 4 in July 2004. Frost next came to the United States and filmed the U.S. version of Supernanny, which premiered on ABC in January 2005.
Frost has also written a book, Supernanny: How To Get The Best From Your Children, which was published in early 2005 in both the U.K. (ISBN 0340895160) and in North America (ISBN 1401308104).
