Ivy Tech State College is the state of Indiana's second-largest post-secondary school. The name "Ivy Tech" actually derives from the original name for the school, Indiana Vocational Technical College, and the name was officially changed to Ivy Tech in 1995. The school was founded in 1963 to provide technical and vocational education but is now a full-service community college offering Associates Degrees in arts & design, business, general education, health sciences, public services, and technology. Ivy Tech offers degree programs at 23 different campuses around Indiana.
