InFocus

InFocus Corporation (NASDAQ: INFS), founded 1986, is a  US-based company that develops, manufactures, and distributes a variety of digital projectors for business, education, and consumer use.  InFocus is headquartered in Wilsonville, Oregon.

History and innovations

InFocus has brought to market innovative products including a flat panel overhead display, two-pound portable projectors, and the first three-pound projector with HDTV and digital connectivity.

In 2001, InFocus brought its product line into the home entertainment market. With technology that competes with the clarity and intensity of widescreen televisions, InFocus projectors offer images up to five times as large.

Connectivity options include digital and analog PCs, DVD players, HDTV, S-video, VCRs, workstations, laserdisc players, and game consoles.

As of 2005, InFocus sells digital projection technology and solutions under brand names ASK, InFocus, Proxima, and ScreenPlay.
