The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is a lighthouse located in North Wildwood, New Jersey, situated on the southwestern shore of Hereford Inlet . It was opened in 1874, but was closed in 1913 when it was damaged in a storm. It was reopened in 1914, after it had been moved 150 feet west. It was again closed in 1964 after a more modern navigational aid was installed nearby, but it was reopened many years later to public tours of it and its extensive gardens.
