Harvey Korman

Harvey Herschel Kormen is a actor born on February 15, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. He has performed in television and movie productions in the US since 1960. His first big break was being a featured performer on "The Danny Kaye Show " (1963-1967), but he is probably best remembered for his performances on "The Carol Burnett Show" (1967-1977) and in the Mel Brooks western Blazing Saddles.

His early television work included voice-over work on "Tom and Jerry" (1965) and "The Flintstones" (1965-1966). Recently he has done voice work for movies "The Flintstones" (1994) and (1998).

Korman has been nominated for six Emmy Awards, and won three (in 1969, 1972, and 1974). He was also nominated for four Golden Globes, winning in 1975.
