Gerda Nicolson, (November 11 1937-June 12 1992) was an Australian theatre and television actor possibly best known for her portrayal of governor Ann Reynolds in the popular Australian television soap opera Prisoner. She played the role from 1982 until the series ended in 1986.
She collapsed and died of a massive stroke in her dressing room prior to going on stage for a theatre performance in 1992. She was only 54 years old.
