Gallus Caesar

Constantius Gallus (d. AD 354) was a cousin of Roman Emperor Constantius II and became Caesar in AD 351. Gallus set up residence in Antioch. He ruled the city in such a severe way that people complained to Constantius II, who had him arrested. On the way to his summons he was executed. He was the older brother of later Emperor Julian the Apostate
