Franco Andrea Bonelli

Franco Andrea Bonelli (November 10, 1784 - November 18, 1830) was an Italian ornithologist and collector.

In 1811 Bonelli became Professor of Zoology at University of Turin and curator of the zoological museum. During his time there the museum assembled one of the largest ornithological collections in Europe. He wrote Catalogue des Oiseaux du Piemont in 1811.
