The F-15I is an aircraft deployed by the Israel Air Force where it is known as the Ra'am (רעם - Thunder) and is essentially a slightly modified version of the F-15E Strike Eagle.
It is an advanced all-weather, day or night aircraft primarilly designed for ground-attack missions with a secondary role as an air-to-air fighter. It is a dual seat aircraft powered by two Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 engines. Several modifications have been made to the F-15E in the F15I configuration to meet the unique needs of the IAF such as an increased takeoff weight and the installation of specilized electronic warfare systems manufactured in Israel.
