Errol Barnett anchors for Channel One News. He was born and raised in Milton Keynes, England and grew up in Avondale, Arizona near Phoenix, Arizona. He has covered President Bush's First State of the Union address and Second Inauguration from Washington DC, flown through a Hurricane over the Gulf of Mexico with the Hurricane Hunters, and reported in a three-part series on bullying in American Schools. He has received a Telly Award and was chosen as one of Teen People Magazine's "20 teens who will change the world" for his work. He is a Board Member of the Black Journalist Association of Southern California which is a chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Errol is a full-time College student majoring in Political Science.
