The Mark, Tom, And Travis Show: The Enema Strikes Back

(November 7 2000)

Enema of the State was blink-182's 5th album. It was released on June 1, 1999 on MCA Records. This was their first album for MCA, their first major label. With hits like "What's My Age Again", blink-182's reputation as hard-partying pop punk rockers was initially established. Critical reviews were often scathing, though some critics appreciated the band's sense of humor and playfulness. Songs like "Adam's Song" also belied the band's image as a purely humorous group; the song is written as a suicide note. This album is an enhanced CD which contains a bonus music video, and web links.
