Emeril Live is a program on Food Network hosted by Emeril Lagasse. It features many of the same elements of his other show, The Essence of Emeril , including a Cajun flair. The show is taped in front of a live audience in New York and features music played by Doc Gibbs and the Emeril Live Band.
Emeril Live began production in 1997, and in the same year it won a Cable Ace Award for "Best Informational Show."
Emeril is known for his use of catch phrases, such as "Pork fat rules," "Where I buy this it don't come seasoned," "Kick it up a notch," and "Bam!"
