Edward Walter Furlong (born August 2, 1977) is an American actor. He was born in Glendale, near Pasadena, California. He is also well-known supporter of animal rights. The son of Elenor Torres and an unknown father, he was raised by his uncle and aunt (Sean and Nancy Furlong). Furlong started his film career as John Connor on Terminator 2, a role that earned him an MTV Movie Award for best breakthrough role and a Saturn Award for best young actor. He also starred in American History X.
