Earl of Berkshire

The title of Earl of Berkshire was created in the Peerage of England for the first time in 1621 for Francis Norris, Lord Norris of Rycote . Following his death the next year, the title was recreated in 1626 for Thomas Howard, 1st Viscount Andover , a younger son of the 1st Earl of Suffolk. The title became merged with the Earldom of Suffolk in 1745, so for later earls, see Earl of Suffolk
