A dueling roller coaster features two roller coasters with a similar layout, built right near each other. The rides are designed to do just as the name indicate: to duel. The coaster's layout often consists of strategic maneuvering to produce near-misses with the two coaster trains to produce a great sensation. Good examples of a Dueling Coaster include Dueling Dragons , the world's only dueling Inverted coaster at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, and Lightning Racer , a Great Coasters International wooden installation at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
