The Right Honourable David Curry is the Conservative Party MP for Skipton and Ripon in the United Kingdom. Michael Howard in 2003 made him Shadow secretary of state for local and devolved government affairs. In 2004 he resigned and was replaced by Caroline Spelman. He is a member of the Privy Council, and a patron of the Tory Reform Group. He writes a monthly column for the Local Government Chronicle .
