Chekhov (Че́хов) is a town in Moscow Oblast, Russia.

Before 1954 it was named Lopasnya (Лопа́сня).

Population 56,000 (1985).

In 15 km from Chekhov, in the village Melikhovo, there is a museum of Anton Chekhov.
