Charlotte Rampling
Charlotte Rampling, (born February 5, 1945 in Sturmer, Essex, England, United Kingdom) is a British actress and former model (her height is 5'7"). She attended Jeanne d'Arc Academie pour Jeunnes Filles in Versailles and St. Hilda's school in Bushley , England.
She is an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and thus can use the letters "OBE" after her name.
She is separated from French composer Jean-Michel Jarre and has 3 children, including the magician David Jarre .
Kinky Machine 's song "Charlotte Rampling" includes the lyric "I always wanted to be your trampoline."
In 1995, Empire (magazine) voted her #97 out of 100 of the Sexiest Stars in history while she was one of People Magazines "50 Most Beautiful People" in May 2001.
Her father, Godfrey Rampling, won a gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics in the 4x400m relay.
