Notes

McDiarmid played Palpatine for The Empire Strikes Back 2004 DVD release only, the Emperor was originally voiced by Clive Revill for that film. Return of the Jedi featured McDiarmid as Palpatine since its original release. The credits of The Empire Strikes Back still incorrectly list Revill as the Emperor's voice.
