Caret may mean:
- the ASCII character ^ (0x5E hex), called circumflex accent in the Unicode standard
- the Unicode character ‸ (U+2038), the actual caret of the Unicode standard
- in Windows API terminology, it means text insertion point indicator (whereas the word cursor is reserved for mouse pointer)
