Bright Angel Trail

Bright Angel Trail is a hiking trail inside Grand Canyon National Park in the U.S. state of Arizona. The trail originates on the south rim of the canyon and ventures donward to Phantom Ranch at the bottom. It is 7.7 miles long from rim to river. It is one of the superhighways of the Grand Canyon, the other being the South Kaibab Trail. Hikers and backpackers share the trail with mules and burros that are a common means of transport on the trail.
