Biotic
Biotic factors are factors produced by living organisms that affect the ability of other living organisms to survive in an environment.
Some common biotic factors which can constrain or reduce populations are disease, parisitism , and predation. The overabundance of predators and lack of sufficient amounts of prey both are factors that hinder population growth. Reduction in or absence of these factors can lead to population growth.
