Beatriz Alas is a Communist politician in Manitoba, Canada.

Alas is a sociology and psychology student at the University of Manitoba. In the 2004 federal election, Alas ran for the Communist Party of Canada in the west Winnipeg riding of Charleswood—St. James (she had joined the party shortly before the election). Her campaign focused on improved programs for recent Canadian immigrants.

Alas received 49 votes, placing sixth in a field of six candidates. It may be noted that she was only twenty-three years old at the time of the election.
