Battle of Fleurus (1690)

The Battle of Fleurus took place on July 1, 1690. It was a victory for the French army under Montmorency-Luxembourg against a European army comprising the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Great Britain under the German General Waldeck . France lost 3,000 men, while the allies lost 9,000 men.

French commanders included François Henri de Montmorency-Bouteville, duc de Luxembourg, Louis François, duc de Boufflers and François Louis, Prince of Conti.
