Arab Socialist Action Party (Saudi Arabia)

The Arab Socialist Action Party (Hizb al-Umal al-Ishtiraki al-Arabi), was founded in Saudi Arabia in the 1970s by elements of the Arab Nationalist Movement. The membership was predominately Shi'ite. The party was completely clandestine.

In the 1990s, the party agreed with the government to disband, in exchange for amnesty.
